[CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) will focus on **California blackworms**, also known as **Lumbriculus variegatus**, a highly valued live food used by freshwater aquarium keepers, breeders, axolotl keepers, amphibian keepers, aquaculture operations, and professionals working with finicky or conditioning fish. The website is being developed as both an ecommerce platform and an educational resource, helping customers not only purchase live blackworms, but also understand how to store, rinse, feed, and culture them successfully. “Live blackworms have long been one of the most effective foods for encouraging natural feeding behavior, conditioning fish, and supporting aquatic animal health,” said **Chadwick Horn, Owner** of [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/). “ Our goal is to make them easier to access, easier to understand, and easier to use responsibly.” The website will offer live blackworms for hobbyists and professionals, with information on live arrival, shipping, handling, storage, feeding amounts, culture methods, and frequently asked questions. [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) is being built for customers who want more than a basic product listing. The site will provide practical guidance for people feeding delicate fish, breeding projects, axolotls, amphibians, invertebrates, and other aquatic animals that benefit from nutrient-rich live foods. A key part of [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/)’s mission is the development of an in-house aquaculture program for California blackworms. Rather than relying solely on resale or short-term supply channels, the company is working toward producing and maintaining its own live blackworm cultures under controlled conditions. This approach is intended to support healthier livestock, more consistent availability, better handling standards, and a more sustainable long-term supply for hobbyists, breeders, retailers, and professional users. What makes [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) unique is its narrow focus. Rather than operating as a general aquarium marketplace, the website is centered specifically on live blackworms and the education needed to use them well. Customers will find product options, care information, support resources, and clear policies in one place. [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) is designed for: * Aquarium hobbyists looking for premium live food * Fish breeders conditioning broodstock or raising young fish * Axolotl and amphibian keepers seeking appropriate live feeding options * Retail stores and aquatic businesses interested in bulk or wholesale availability * Aquaculture and educational programs needing reliable live food information * Keepers working with picky, wild-caught, or newly imported aquatic animals [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) will officially open to customers on **June 1st, 2026**. Additional launch details, product availability, shipping information, and ordering policies will be announced at **[CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/)**. ## About CABlackworms.com [CABlackworms.com](https://cablackworms.com/) is a dedicated online source for live California blackworms, educational care information, and live food support for aquarium hobbyists, breeders, aquatic retailers, and animal care professionals.
