We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Aquatic Gallery. Whether part-time or full-time, this role will require you to assist with sales, manage customer inquiries, and ensure a positive in-store experience. You’ll help customers select the right livestock and aquarium products for their needs while maintaining a high level of service. Previous retail experience, ideally in a fish or pet store, is essential to succeed in this role. You’ll need to be available for a set schedule, as we aim to provide all employees with regular hours and two consecutive days off.
In addition to sales and customer service, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the health and cleanliness of our livestock. This includes feeding, tank cleaning, and ensuring proper water quality for the various aquatic species we house. Knowledge of coral and saltwater aquarium systems is a plus, but training will be provided if needed. You’ll also assist with regular aquarium maintenance, both in-store and at our warehouse periodically if necessary. Your ability to balance customer interactions with these duties will be key to keeping our store running smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and genuinely interested in aquatic life. You must be able to work well in a team environment and manage time effectively to handle both sales and livestock care responsibilities.
